Russell Health Collective
Featured Business Profile in March 2023
Are you looking for a fresh approach for your chiropractic treatment? Russell Health Collective not only offers your standard adjustments but combines it with a rehabilitation approach that encompasses a multidimensional wellbeing program. With the help of the owner, Dr. Emily Blue, you will receive your chiropractic adjustments and treatment. Subsequently, with Lloyd Morgan, Clinical Movement Coach, you will be coached through rehabilitation exercises as part of each appointment.
Originally practising in the United Kingdom, Dr. Emily and Lloyd made the decision during the pandemic to move their practice close to Ottawa. Located in Russell, Russell Health Collective is named after their philosophical approach, which is to guide patients beyond simply improving health; they wish to restore meaningful function by offering rehabilitative care to enhance whole-body health. In addition to chiropractic care and clinical movement coaching, they offer pregnancy and postpartum care. As Dr. Emily herself is currently 8 months postpartum, she has a deeper understanding of the struggles and the role the Webster technique can play in pregnancy. This specialized service also provides a proactive framework for navigating exercise during pregnancy and helps patients have an informed postpartum period especially for pelvic floor function.
Furthermore, Russell Health Collective believes in being involved with the community. Having recently participated in the Living Locally Fair, they wish to continue their community orientated efforts and have much to offer the community. They are currently looking to expand their team of practitioners. They are seeking others who believe, and value being involved in their patients care and encourage anyone who fits the criteria to reach out to them directly.
