The owners of Boutique Joma, Johanne and Marcel Roy, opened their doors in 2009 at 934 Notre-Dame Street. Three years later, the business had grown and they moved to 839 Notre-Dame Street. Since then, Boutique Joma has continued to expand its range of products. In addition, in order to keep up with the latest fashion and to offer as many Canadian-made products as possible, Johanne regularly visits Toronto and Montreal. In 2019, Boutique Joma was the winning business in the Retail Enterprise category at the Gala of Excellence for the quality and variety of its products, after sales service, customer service and its growth.
The business remains very involved in the community. Among other things, Johanne, with the help of several colleagues and family members, organizes fashion shows to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation and the Good Neighbours Food Bank. This spring, stay tuned for new contests that will offer a chance to win products and services from local businesses. Johanne would like to thank her loyal customers for shopping at the boutique year after year as well as her family who are always ready to help.
