Ontario Provincial Police
The Township of Russell does not have it's own municipal police service. The Ontario Provincial Police, a provincial-level service, serve the Township of Russell community.
Only the OPP can enforce and ticket speeding and other traffic violations. To make a report, please call the OPP's non-emergency phone line at 1-888-310-1122 or report online.
Road Safety
The Township collects traffic data along streets in our villages to understand if traffic calming measures are needed. We always record traffic data from both sides of the street. You may sometimes notice a screen is turned off — don't worry, data is still being collected. Turning the screen off can help us collect more representative data.
