When Christmas has come and gone, we can help you dispose of your natural Christmas Trees.

You can drop off your natural Christmas tree at the designated area at our Russell or Embrun arenas on select days in December and January.

  • At the Embrun arena, the drop-off is at the North East corner of the property near the outdoor rink.
  • At the Russell arena, the drop off is just North of the building near the Lions club sign.

Remember to remove these items from your tree:

  • Tree bags
  • Tinsel
  • Ornaments
  • Nails
  • Tree skirts
  • Stands
  • Snow or ice

Fake Christmas Trees

If your tree is fake, it cannot be dropped off as part of this collection. Please box it up and put it away for next year, or bring it to the GFL Russell/Vars Transfer Station at 211 Corduroy Road.
