We invite you to participate in the Meet Me on Main Street event Thursday August 1st, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This year’s event will take place at 901, Notre-Dame Street in Embrun, at the start of the recreational trail and on a portion of Blais Street. The Township of Russell is organizing this event where the community will gather in the street and support local businesses and organizations.
Admission to this community gathering is free. Food & beverage kiosks, local music, craft breweries, face painting, fire safety drill, outdoor fun, etc. will be available to all. Fun for the whole family!
Blais Street will be closed from the Notre-Dame/Blais intersection to 46 Blais Street from 2:00 p.m. to 9 p.m., with access to pedestrians only. A detour will be in place.
Parking will be available at the following locations:
- 915 Notre Dame Street (Former St-Jacques Nursing Home)
- 924-926 Notre Dame Street (Coop)
- 6-8 Blais Street (Arena and Community Centre)
In case of rain, the event will take place at the Camille Piché Community Centre, 8 Blais Street, Embrun.
