Back to SearchOur Public Utilities crew will be opening up fire hydrants to conduct flow testing of the water distribution system in Embrun throughout the month of September. This testing is done to make sure the system is working optimally.
If you turn on your indoor tap and notice discolouration, do not panic. Discolouration is normal and is safe to drink according to the EPA. Let your tap run for a minute, and the discolouration should disappear.
