Township of Russell Launches New Website

Embrun, ON April 16, 2021 - The Township of Russell is proud to announce the launch of their new website at Russell.ca.

Residents are encouraged to visit the new website which features a modern appearance, easier navigation, and new content.

Key features include:

• A homepage with seasonal information and key topics;
• Improved subscribe feature to news and public notices, upcoming calendar events, and updates on individual page topics;
• An event calendar for all Township meetings and events;
• Forms and permit applications easily found within their own menu;
• Improved search bar;
• Better navigation on smartphone and tablet devices; and
• Compliance with new accessibility regulations.

To help residents become familiar with the new website, the Township is hosting two bilingual webinars on Thursday, April 29th at 10:30a.m. and 6:00p.m. The broadcast link can be found on the Event Calendar at Russell.ca/calendar. Residents are encouraged to send questions in advance to the Communications Department.

“Our website is our main channel of communication with residents,” says Mayor Pierre Leroux. “The new website helps us improve on our communication, being a priority for Council.”
