March 23, 2025, is School Crossing Guard Appreciation Day!

Please join us in thanking Maryke, Karen, Carolyn, Valerie, Jacqueline, Brandon, Donna, and Lyette for the work they do – rain or shine – in keeping our children, residents, and even pets safe as they cross the road.

Crossing guards play a vital role in our communities, ensuring safety for all! Next time you see one of our crossing guards, take a moment to say hi and thank them for their hard work!

As a driver, you can also contribute to safety by:

• Paying close attention to pedestrians, especially when turning.
• Slowing down and driving cautiously through school zones, residential areas or any other location where children might be walking or playing.
• Being mindful of Community Safety Zone signs that highlight areas of heightened concern.
