Remembrance Day Ceremonies 2024

The following are the 2024 Remembrance Day Ceremonies in the Township:

• Russell: November 11, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the Russell Legion located at 24 Legion Lane in Russell. This event is hosted by the Russell Legion. The ceremony will be held in English only. Residents are invited inside the Legion after the ceremony for refreshments, snacks and live music.

• Limoges: November 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the cenotaph located at 461 Limoges Road, Limoges. Organized by the Limoges Recreation Committee. The ceremony will be held in both official languages.

• Embrun: November 11, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Town Hall located at 717 Notre-Dame Street, Embrun. This event is hosted by the Township of Russell. The ceremony will be held in French only.

Flags will be half-masted on all municipal buildings in the Township of Russell until sunset on November 11, 2024, to mark Remembrance Day.

A reminder that Town Hall will be closed Monday, November 11, 2024 for Remembrance Day.
