Organic Waste Collection Starts Next Week

A reminder that the organic waste collection starts April 7 and will take place weekly on your regular collection day. Garbage collection continues weekly and recycling on alternating weeks as per usual schedule.

Not sure what to put in?

A brochure was included in your kitchen bin with a list of items you can and cannot include. If you did not receive a brochure, you can download it at www.russell.ca/organic or pickup a copy at Town Hall.

How to place your bin

This collection is fully automated. Make sure you place your bin on your regular collection day, before 7 a.m. with the wheels facing AWAY from the road and at least 2 feet away from parked cars, fences and other obstructions.
