The Corporation of the Township of Russell (Township) has initiated a Schedule B Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) to review and study the proposed expansion of the road network within the 417 Industrial Park.
A Public Information Centre (PIC) is being held to introduce the project, preliminary results of activities completed to-date and to solicit public and stakeholder’s feedback on the information presented. The PIC will follow a drop-in format. Project team representatives will be available to answer questions and discuss next steps.
The Process
In compliance with Schedule B Activities, the Township of Russell is performing an evaluation of alternative solutions, an assessment of potential impacts associated with the proposed expansion of road network and development of measures to mitigate identified impacts.
Public Consultation
Public consultation is an integral component of the Class EA process, and we value your input during the planning process. Notices are published in local newspapers, on the Township’s website and distributed to all individuals and agencies who express an interest in this project.
