Meet Me on Main Street

Russell, ON – We invite you to participate at the Meet Me on Main Street event Thursday July 13th, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This year marks the 125th anniversary of the Police Village of Russell, and with the assistance of the 125th Steering Committee as well as other community groups, the Township of Russell is organizing this event where the community will gather in the street and support local businesses and organizations.

Admission to this community gathering is free. Food & beverage kiosks, local music, craft breweries, face painting, fire safety drill, outdoor fun, etc will be available to all. Fun for the whole family!

Concession Street will be closed from First Street to Maple Street from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with access to pedestrians only. Detour will be in place, visit our website at www.russell.ca/meetme for more information or our Facebook event page at: https://www.facebook.com/events/1952609135084022.

Parking will be available at the following locations:

• Russell Fairgrounds
• Russell Public Library
• Mother Theresa Catholic School
• New York Central Recreation Trail parking
• Duncanville Park and Ride

In case of rain, the event will take place at the Russell Arena, 1084 Concession Street.
