Invitation to Symposium
More
*Please note that this Symposium is offered in French only.
The Council of the Township of Russell is proud to sponsor seven participants for this event. If you are a resident of the municipality and are interested in participating, please send an e-mail to info@russell.ca with the following information:
Places will go to the first seven (7) people to contact us by e-mail. You will receive confirmation from us by e-mail.
We invite political decision-makers, stakeholders, women AND men to participate in large numbers, because equality is something we can achieve together.
The aim of this symposium is to collaborate with stakeholders who have an influence on policies and systems, and with our male allies, to begin a collective process aimed at eliminating systemic barriers to equality.
The event will also serve as a springboard for Women's History Month celebrations in Canada, which mark the "International Day of the Girl" and commemorate the "l’Affaire personne" by taking stock of the state of systemic barriers in the region and uniting to bring about lasting solutions for gender equality.
