Want to know what is happening in our area? Our community calendar is the best place to look. You can also receive a weekly summary of events every Friday.

• Payments Deadlines: Dog tags, property taxes, water and sewer
• Waste Collection: know when collection dates are delayed or select any of the special collections

Already receive emails from us? We are happy to hear! If you wish to add any categories to your subscription you will need to refill the form. To subscribe or update your subscription, simply fill out the form at www.russell.ca/subscribe and check off the boxes that interest you.

On the subscription form, you can also select to receive emails on news, press releases, road closures, parking and fire bans.

Post an event in the calendar

Local organizations can post events as long as they are open to the general public and take place within the Township.

Community events will not be published on the calendar if they:

• Do not comply with municipal, provincial or federal legislation.
• Are commercial in nature and/or advertise, promote or sell products/services of an individual business.
• Are programs, camps, lessons, or classes that require paid enrolment.
• Promote inappropriate content of any kind.
• Are deemed political in nature, other than an election all-candidates meeting.

Your submission will be reviewed within two business days. Submissions may be refused or removed if necessary.
