Dog Tags – 2024 Final Tax Bill

Confused by the dog tag charges on your 2024 final tax bill? Don’t worry you were not double charged!

Please be advised that dog tag charges were not included in the 2023 final tax bill (September 2023). Instead, we charged the 2023 dog tags on the 2024 interim tax bill (March 2024) and charged the 2024 dog tags on the 2024 final tax bill (September 2024). As a result, your 2024 final tax bill is showing the entire amounts of dog tags we billed in the year 2024. Therefore, if you had one dog for 2023 and 2024 the 2024 final tax bill would show $40.00. Rest assured that the amount you paid for the 2023 dog tag on the 2024 interim tax bill is included in the amount shown on the line “Less: interim billing”.

In the future, the dog tags will always be billed as part of the Interim Tax Bill.
