Class Environmental Assessment Study – Notice of Project File Report

Road Network Expansion, 417 Industrial Park, Township of Russell

The Township of Russell has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) study for the proposed expansion of the road network within the 417 Industrial Park located right next to Highway 417.

This study includes the problem/opportunity statement, evaluation of alternative solutions, and documentation of existing geotechnical, traffic, transportation, and archaeological conditions in the study area. A preferred solution was selected based on technical analysis and feedback from the public, stakeholders, Indigenous communities, and relevant agencies.

This Project File Report has been prepared at the conclusion of the study and is currently available for a 30-day public review period.
