e-Billing

Go paperless and receive your property taxes, water or sewer bills directly by email. You choose how you want to pay your bill.

To register for e-billing:

1. Complete the form below
2. Send the completed form by email to the contact provided on the form or in person at Town Hall.

If you wish to register for e‑billing only, leave Section 4 of the form blank.

It is your responsibility to notify the Township in writing if:

• Your email address changes, or
• You do not receive your bill

Late fees will still apply if payment is not received on time.

Pre-Authorized Payment and/or e-Billing Form

Pre-Authorized Payments

Pre‑authorized payments allow you to pay your property taxes or water and/or sewer automatically, helping you avoid missed deadlines and late fees.

You can choose one of the following options:

• Option A: Monthly payments
• Option B: Payments withdrawn on taxes or water and/or sewer due dates

To register for pre‑authorized payments:

1. Complete the form below
2. Submit the completed form and a void cheque by email to the contact information provided on the form or in person at Town Hall

Pre-Authorized Payment and/or e-Billing Form

You will be notified of the amount withdrawn from your bank account. A property tax bill will still be issued for your records.

Information and Conditions for Option A (Equal Monthly Payments)

• Withdrawals are made on the 27th of each month unless it falls on the weekend or statutory holiday. If that is the case, the withdrawal will be on the preceding business day.
• Your account must be paid in full to be eligible
• Renewal is automatic each year unless you request changes or cancellation
• There is no setup fee
• After two insufficient fund withdrawals, the plan will be cancelled
• The Township may cancel the plan at any time

You must notify the Township if:

• Your banking information changes
• You sell your property
• You wish to cancel the plan

At the beginning of each year, the Township will send a letter by mail confirming your monthly payment amount.

How Payments Are Calculated

For property taxes:

• January to August: Monthly payments are based on the previous year’s taxes divided by 12.
• September to December: Payments are adjusted based on the current tax bill and remaining balance.

For water and/or sewer accounts:

• If you choose monthly payments, you select a fixed amount to be withdrawn each month there is not a bill due. On months where a bill is due (January, April, July, October), the withdrawal will reflect any remaining balance.
