Bowling Hall Reopens with a Fresh New Look

The lanes will reopen for public bowling on Friday, September 6, 2024! We will also have prolonged public bowl hours this Saturday, September 7th from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

During the summer break, we took the opportunity to give the space a fresh new look. The bowling hall, located at 8 Blais Street below the Camille Piché Community Centre in Embrun, has been open since 1981. It is a well-known spot for residents to enjoy a friendly game or join a local league.

This spring, we invited residents to submit photos to replace the panels at the end of the lanes. We received 60 submissions, and after a public vote, we are pleased to announce the five winning photographs, submitted by:

Public Bowling Hours

• Fridays 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Saturdays 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Sept 7th: 1-10 p.m.)
• Sundays 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Leagues

Registration is currently open for the following leagues, view the Fall Program Guide for more information and register here.

• Youth League: Play bowling games every Saturday and keep track of your score. Ages 4 to 14.
• Advanced Youth League: This Saturdays league is designed for advanced bowlers who want to learn more about the game as well as get advice on how to improve their scores. Ages 11 to 16.
• Challengers League: Play bowling games every Friday night and meet new friends. For youth and young adults with disabilities.
• Adult leagues are run by community members, if interested, please send your name, numbers and what you are looking for. We will pass that info onto the league convenors if they need players.
