Transportation Master Plan

The Transportation Master Plan (TMP) Update for Russell Township is aimed at addressing transportation needs for the Township over the next twenty years, from 2025 to 2044.

It assesses the current state of the transportation system in Russell Township, focusing on key performance indicators such as mode share and roadway operations. It evaluates how well the transportation network supports for various modes including transit, walking, cycling, and driving. Driving continues to be the preferred mode for commuting, accounting for over 87% of trips in 2021, with public transit, walking and cycling making up less than 5% of the total trips.
