Municipal Planner |
The Infrastructure and Planning Department of the Township of Russell is currently seeking a motivated individual for the above-mentioned position. Under the direction of the Executive Director of Infrastructure and Planning, the Planner is responsible for processing requests related to zoning amendments, site plans, subdivision plans, and drafting relevant planning and development policies. This role ensures that safety, quality, and efficiency are upheld throughout the planning process and that on-going projects are monitored. Additionally, the Planner is responsible for preparing reports, following up on internal and external communications related to the projects, as well as preparing research projects. The Planner works with other professional disciplines and municipal authorities to deliver high-quality services to our clients and consultants and will represent the Planning Department at various committees on issues related to planning. Skills and Knowledge:
Language requirements: Excellent proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing in both French and English. Compensation: The salary, based on a 35-hour workweek, is set between $73,504 and $91,749 per year and includes an excellent benefits package, a pension plan, and free access to the gym at the Municipal Sports Dome.
